Sant Sebastian is considered to be the longest of the other Barcelona beaches. This is a traditional, very nice, long and wide beach. With the length of 1085 meters and width of 75 meters, it offers fine golden sand, urbanized, a nice promenade, with some beach bars. As it is near Olympic Port, you may see and try different water sports as surfing, jet skiing and sailing.

Nova Icaria and Bogatell are as the previous good options for sunbathing. Some activities that you can enjoy and practice are jet beach volley, skiing, windsurfing and sailing. These beaches are probably the best choices for windsurfing enthusiasts.
Mar Bella and Nova Mar Bella are particularly popular with young people. It has an area for nudists however attracts a cosmopolitan crowd from all walks of life, including sports lovers and students from the nearby faculties. Officially it is not prohibited by the law to strip oneself but it is not recommended, so seekers for a gut full-body tan just choose one place.
Llevant is the last of the Barcelona beaches created on the coastline. It was opened to the city in the summer of 2006. It is located next to Nova Mar Bella Beach. It is also a good choice if you are looking for a quiet Barcelona beach, less populated by tourists.
Going out off the beaten tourist track you can find a lot of other quiet and marvelous places where to get tanned.
Castelldefels Beach provides a very unique beach experience found right outside of Barcelona. A key part of what makes this beach unique is that it stretches for almost 5 kilometres. The beach has a perfect position between two very different ecosystems. On one which includes wetlands as well as reed beds. On the other the limestone highlands of Garraf Park. Furthermore a spectacular mountain views adds a considerable beauty to this place.
Sitges Beaches are just 39 Km away. Sitges has 17 different beaches, and that includes two well-known nudist beaches. Platja d’Aiguadolç and Platja dels Balmins area two of the most popular nude options in the Sitges beach area.

The village of Garraf is a picturesque fishing village, which is located on a hill by the beach. There are quaint old fisherman’s huts running along the beach but now they are used as beach huts. Due to the fact that this beach is so close to Barcelona, it is really popular among local families.
